Overview

Project Relay is a private personal automation project. It is used by its owner to support personal data-processing and sports-data workflows.

Google account data accessed

When authorised by the Google account owner, Project Relay may access Gmail data needed for its automation functions. Depending on the workflow, this can include reading selected email messages and sending notification emails.

How Google user data is used

Google user data is used only to perform the functions requested and authorised by the account owner. Examples include locating relevant incoming messages, extracting information required by a personal data-ingestion process, and sending status or completion notifications.

Storage

Data required by the automation may be stored locally in the owner's private project files or databases for the purposes of the personal workflows. OAuth credentials and tokens are stored for authentication so that authorised automation can operate without repeated sign-in prompts.

Sharing and sale of data

Project Relay does not sell Google user data. Google user data is not shared with unrelated third parties for advertising, marketing, profiling, or commercial resale.

Limited use

Project Relay's use of information received from Google APIs is limited to providing and improving the user-facing functionality of the personal automation workflows described on this site.

Security

Reasonable measures are used to protect stored credentials and project data. Access is limited to the owner of the project and the systems required to operate the authorised workflows.

Revoking access

The Google account owner can revoke Project Relay's access at any time through the Google Account permissions and security controls.

Changes to this policy

This policy will be updated if Project Relay materially changes how it accesses, uses, stores, or shares Google user data.
